In 2007, Oshawa Toastmasters celebrates 50 years
of growth from its very first tentative steps into the
world of public speaking to producing in 2003, the club’s
first winner of the District’s International Speech
competition.
People join our club from all walks of life and
for a variety of reasons. Perhaps it is to practice
a speech for a wedding, a presentation for work, to
gain confidence, or just to make new friends. Whatever
the reason members and guests are assured a fun filled
evening that is both enjoyable and educational.
You will never know what the water is like until you
dip in your toes. So either give us a call so that
we can look out for you, or just call in - either
way you will be made most welcome.
We meet at the Oshawa Senior Citizen Centre, (lower
level), 43 John St. W., Oshawa (Wheelchair accessible),
Wednesdays from 6:45 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
